Delayed Period at 14: Understanding Menstrual Irregularities

So here's the thing, I'm 14 years old and have had one period. Well that was back in September and it's now May! My mom says that she thinks I'll be getting it any day now, but she's been saying that for months! I'm getting worried that it will never come back. I know that sounds kind of ridiculous, but it's how I'm really starting to feel. What do I do?

I think your mother is probably right. We, as Gynecologist, do not really worry and start to investigate a case except if she is 16, never experienced a period with no secondary sex characters such as breast development, appearance of pubi hair...if ur breast started 2 develop or if u have few pubic hair...u should not worry. In fact ur at 14 already had a period and this is very much reassuring. DO NOT WORRY.
