Understanding Hemorrhage Sacs in Early Pregnancy: What You Need to Know
QuestionI went to the emergency room on July 13th because i was having stomach cramps they did an ultrasound and they said they seen a visible hemorrhage sac which i am confused they said i am about thirteen weeks and six days not sure if his is a bad thing or was there a second sac trying to form because the baby its self that we seen had a heartbeat of 167 and was developing the way it should and everything else on the ultrasound looked normal, also i did not know if nonvisible ovaries are bad to???
AnswerDear Christina
According to your description this seems to be a case of mild threatened abortion. Bed rest, avoidance of household activities, sexual intercourse are the most important lines of treatment. Drugs may or may not be prescribed in this case. I advise a repeat ultrasound after 1 week to make sure that hemorrhage stopped. It is important to be aware that this written advise is not an alternative to full cloinical examination.
Good Luck
