Understanding a Pregnancy Sac Without a Fetus: What It Means

Last I went to the E.R because I was having a lot of cramping on my left side. The Dr had order blood Test, the Dr stated that I were pregnant.I am about 4 weeks. The Dr did a US on me, they found a sac with no fetal. My hormoneslevel are 1970. In 2 weeks i have another blood test to see how my hormones are doing. I am going nut over here becasue I had a Misscarrage about 9yrs ago.

Sometimes at 4 weeks the fetal pole is not vivble depending on the resolution of the machine, experience of sonographer and other factors.

Therefoe at the present time, there is no much concern but you should have a repeat ultrasound after 2 weeks when u also repeat your hormones. At that time, a firm diagnosis can be made.
