Pregnancy After HELLP Syndrome: Risks & Timeline

Good day sir. I just delivered a Still Baby Boy at 30weeks  on de 3rd of Dec 2011. He was my 1st at 27 yrs, iv asked God for strength  and have decided to try again. When can I safely try again and what are the chances of having this illness again? I was discharged from hospital 2days after delivering and did not have seizures or blood transfusions. My blood pressure is back to normal and have no blood clotting disorders. Thank you  in advance.

At the current state of knowledge, there is no standard time limit that you can be advised to get pregnant after HELLP.
However; I advise you to consult the Obstetrician you plan to have care with. There are some blood tests that should be performed before planning for a new pregnancy in order to make sure that your clotting mechanisms are back to prepregnancy normal levels.
