again. I want baby. I don't know what should I do. I want to mention one more thing that whenever I do intercourse with my husband after that day I feel not well. I have vomiting sensations. I don't know what is the problem could you please help me out. I really want baby...... :(

ANSWER: Shilpi:  I recently watched a TV show about a couple with a similar problem.  The wife was allergic to her husband's semen and had severe pain and burning after intercourse.  It is called "Seminal Plasma Hypersensitivity".  This information might help you:

[Dr Andrew Goldstein, from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center said: "The body recognizes semen as a foreign protein just as it would recognize a peanut allergen or pollen." "So you have swelling, you have itching, you have inflammation of the nerve endings."

His colleague Jonathan Bernstein developed a desensitization treatment similar to receiving an allergy shot. After determining the proteins in Mr. Boyde's semen that triggered his wife's reaction, he created a serum to counteract the problem. Although the treatment works to help  some couples get pregnant, it did not for the Boyde's. They have now started adoption proceedings.]

Perhaps this is your problem, too.  I would try to find a doctor to help you diagnose this allergy and perhaps you can contact this hospital in Cincinnati for some help.  If you don't live near Cincinnati they might be able to help you find help where you do live.

For some couples, getting the treatment allows them to be able to get pregnant but it doesn't always work.  I hope this helps.

Answer

The only information I could find indicated that you would have to go to Cincinnati for treatment.  Checkout the website above and take the questionnaire that is available to test whether this is your problem or not.  Cincinnati is not too far away from Richmond VA.  I think you will have to go there with your husband to get this problem solved.  I wish you the best of luck.
You could also call the number at the website
Jonathan Bernstein, M.D.
University of Cincinnati

Cincinnati,OH 45267-0563
Phone: 513-558-5533
Fax: 513-558-3799

And maybe they will have someone they can refer you to in your area.  But probably not.  I don't think anyone else has discovered the solution, so you will have to go to them for the solution.
