Late Period After Progesterone Cream: Possible Pregnancy & Hormone Imbalance

my cycle is 32 days. I ovulate at day 15. This cycle I had unprotected sex various times during and after ovulation. I started my progesterone cream given to me by my natural path for a hormone unbalance. (i have low estrogen throughout my cycle and low progesterone nearing the end and high levels of testosterone throughout, i'm 25)my periods are always regular to the day. this is my first time using the cream and my period is 6 days late. I did a cheap pregnancy test today that read negative, however it hasn't eased my mind. just wondering if the cream can delay it? after my saliva test I was told that I ovulate normally and can conceive however I don't produce enough progesterone to support a pregancy, can the cream work that fast?

I think most home pregnancy tests are pretty reliable.  Have you taken another one or gone back to your naturopath?  I think that is the best source of information for your situation.  I don't have enough information and because you are being treated by someone else, you should get your questions answered by him/her.  Thanks for your question.  I hope you find the solution.
