Understanding Your Medical Tests: BMP, HbA1c & Urinalysis Explained

I would like to know what these test will show a Dr?  Why are they ordered?  I am waiting the results in the mail. Thanks.

The BMP lets your doctor know how your kidneys are functioning, what your calcium and glucose levels are, and about acid/base balance. The HBA1C is a test that is used to monitor the amount of glucose in your blood over a two or three month time period. The Urinalysis w/micro is used to tell if there is anything abnormal in your urine, like glucose, protein, or bacteria.
