Duphaston for Irregular Periods & Fertility: A Patient's Experience

Me and my husband is trying to have another child 7 months from now. i didn't have my menstration for 3 months and thought that I'm pregnant but my OB told me that I'm not. So she gave me duphaston tablet to take for 3 cycle and also folic acid tablet for me to have a regular menstration. I will take duphaston for 10 days after 15 days from my first period. I will have another appointment on my OB after my 3 cycles of menstration (october).

Today is my 2nd day of menstration. My question is, will I get pregnant within the 15 days before taking duphaston?

Hello,

The Duphaston can help you become pregnant, but there is no  way to tell for sure if you will become pregnant.  If after 3 cycles with this drug, you still do not become pregnant, you should consider seeing a specialist who can run some tests and see whether other treatment is necessary.  Good luck.
