ANSWER: Hello,
I'm sorry but I don't quite understand your question because you are using abbreviations that I don't recognize. What is "rhop 8" and "amh".

QUESTION: r rhop is a type of chemotherapy and amh antimullerian hormone to test how many egg left from my understanding. i had 8 txs of r chop.so have you had any post chemo successful pts with own egg ivf? OF those who received lupron had a better outcome?
AnswerHello,
The "r rhop" must be an acronym that the oncologist use for a combination of medications. Unfortunately, I don't know what those meds are to be able to tell what effect they would have on your ovary. In general, however, most chemotherapy drugs inhibit/kill cells such as eggs and so the ovary is rendered infertile. In that case, only donor eggs with IVF can be used to achieve pregnancy.
I have not personally had any post-chemotherapy patients but there have been many reports in the literature. In the U.S., we recommend these patients have either ovarian tissue preservation or egg freezing to preserve their fertility after chemo and/or radiation.
Lupron adds no benefit.
I hope that answers your questions.
