Medrol (Methylprednisolone) & Progesterone in Fertility Treatment: Timing & Usage

So sorry Dr. Ramirez, I also forgot to mention the Medrol.

In addition to the baby aspirin, I plan to take this (methylprednisolone) for
this last-try cycle, but I notice you also give this. I'm unsure as to 'when' in
the cycle one starts to take the Medrol? I have seen lots of different
suggestions on the internet, including yours, but unsure as to whether this is
taken from 1st day of stimms/beginning of cycle, or started later on at egg
retrieval?

Hello Again,

In patients that have failed previous IVF cycles, my protocol is to add Medrol 16 mg per day, Heparin 2000 units twice per day, both beginning with the start of the cycle.  All my IVF paatients take Aspirin 81 mg per day.  In addition, I use a double dose of progesterone, as mentioned in my previous reply.
