Heavy Bleeding After Ovulation: Possible Pregnancy or Other Causes?

Question
I had my period starting on March 8th.... High ovulation was about 20th-21st.... I started bleeding a little light on March 26th, which ended up getting much heavier, just not as "chunky" as my typical period.... Which isn't supposed to be back until April 5th anyways.... Now, it's the 28th, I'm still bleeding pretty heavily, and cramping.... Is it at all still possible I have a chance being pregnant?!  And, what could this bleeding possibly be from?!  This is VERY abnormal for me, I am 24 and NEVER had anything like this occur.... Thank you SO very much!....

Answer
Hello Dev from the U.s.,

With heavy bleeding and cramping it is unlikely that you would remain pregnant if you were to start with.  Also, it would be very early to have a miscarriage, so the bleeding may be from some other source.  I cannot give you more specifics that that.  You'll need to see your Gynecologist to have some testing done.  A blood pregnancy test can see if you were pregnant and are miscarrying.
