AnswerHello Nadini from India,
Normally, if the cycle is a regular cycle, as in your February, March and April cycles, it is an indication that you are ovulating. When you have an irregular cycle, especially if you skip, and you are not pregnant, then that is an indication that ovulation did not occur. Irregular cycles could indicate that the ovary or some other part in the ovulatory pathway is not functioning correctly and could inhibit pregnancy.
Also keep in mind that most women will take 8-12 months to achieve pregnancy because the body has to go through a 9 step process and this does not occur perfectly each month. If you have only been trying for 3 months, then I would recommend that you continue trying on your own for another 9 months, using the period to time intercourse. Mark the day your period starts and count each day. On cycle day #10 stop having recreational intercourse. On CD#13-17, have intercourse daily, once per day, one ejaculation only per day. This should be your fertile period. After than you can resume recreational intercourse. If you miss your period, or don't have one by cycle day #35, then you need to have a pregnancy test.
