QuestionI'm 21 years old and 6 months ago I met the man of my dreams. My ex passed on an STD (genital Herpes to be exact). I have been outbreak free for almost one year and take care of body very well to keep things going smoothly.
My question is: My fiancee would like to preform oral sex but I have pushed him away. Is it ok for him? He does know about my std. I have been doing research on the internet for many days and only found one website that was helpful. It states that a person with no known symptoms are 3x more likely to get HSV-1. What are the possibilities of this happening?
He says that he doesnt care but I want to keep him as safe as possible because I'm to afraid to "ruin" (cant find a good word - I have had depression since the day I found out) his life so if we dont make it he wont have to worry about future relationships. Do you have any advice as to what I might say to him if there would be a good/great possibility of passing it to him through oral to help him understand that I do not want this for him?

Not until you have been treated with acyclovir 800mg 5 times a day for 30 days and then take twice a day for 1 year, plus 5 times a day for 30 days after each future outbreak. If you doctor Rx Valtrex instead you need 2 times a day for 30 days then daily for one year plus similar for outbreaks.
