Herpes & Oral Sex: Safe Practices & Concerns

Question
I'm 21 years old and 6 months ago I met the man of my dreams.  My ex passed on an STD (genital Herpes to be exact).  I have been outbreak free for almost one year and take care of body very well to keep things going smoothly.
My question is:  My fiancee would like to preform oral sex but I have pushed him away.  Is it ok for him? He does know about my std.  I have been doing research on the internet for many days and only found one website that was helpful.  It states that a person with no known symptoms are 3x more likely to get HSV-1.  What are the possibilities of this happening?
He says that he doesnt care but I want to keep him as safe as possible because I'm to afraid to "ruin" (cant find a good word - I have had depression since the day I found out) his life so if we dont make it he wont have to worry about future relationships.  Do you have any advice as to what I might say to him if there would be a good/great possibility of passing it to him through oral to help him understand that I do not want this for him?
Thanks for your time~

Answer
My fiancee would like to preform oral sex but I have pushed him away. Is it ok for him? Not until you have been treated with acyclovir 800mg 5 times a day for 30 days and then take twice a day for 1 year, plus 5 times a day for 30 days after each future outbreak. If you doctor Rx Valtrex instead you need 2 times a day for 30 days then daily for one year plus similar for outbreaks.

It states that a person with no known symptoms are 3x more likely to get HSV-1. What are the possibilities of this happening? You can count on it always happening.

Do you have any advice as to what I might say to him if there would be a good/great possibility of passing it to him through oral to help him understand that I do not want this for him? Not only him but your children and all future relationships so get the above treatment now and do it correct for one year, plus at each outbreak
