Roxithromycin During Pregnancy: Safety & Considerations - Dr. Ramirez

hello dr ramirez
     sir i am 39yrs old and currently in my 14week of pregnancy.earler i had two first trimester miscarriage.so this time as a precaution my doctor put me on predenisolone which is going to be discontinued after 14weeks and  after 14weeks i have been asked
to take ROXITHROMYCIN 300MG FOR 7DAYS.ALL MY REPORTS ARE NORMAL.
PLS GIVE YOUR OPINIOn whether i need to take roxithromycin300 or not

Hello Adu from India,

Unless you have some type of infection going on at this time, there is no indication for any antibiotic at this time and certainly not this one.  You'll have to ask your doctor why he is prescribing this.
