QuestionI took some prescribe decongestion medicine and I have since had this gas like pain in my stomach and sometimes lower back. Kind of like in the kidney area.
How long will I feel this way and do I need to worry or go to any emergency room for assistance?
Besides not taking medicine on an empty stomach ever again, is there anything I can do for comfort?
AnswerYes, this is not normal so I would check in with your doctor to be sure you do not have a kidney or prostate infection or adrenal abnormality. These would not be caused by the decongestants but their presence could show up at that time. There are a few simple painless tests they can do to be sure you are alright. OK?
