Swelling, Migraines, and Weight Gain: Understanding Potential Causes

Question
MY DAUGHTER IS 27, SINGLE MOTHER OF THREE AND OUT OF WORK.

SHE IS EXPERIENCING SWELLING IN HER ARMS AND LEGS.  ALSO HAS BEEN HAVING MIGRAINS.

SHE HAS RESEARCHED INTERNET AND KEEPS COMING UP WITH POSSIBLE CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE POSSIBILITIES.  IS THIS TRUE?  SHE HAS ALSO GAINED 10 POUNDS IN THE LAST WEEK.

THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR TIME AND CONSIDERATION IN THIS INQUIRY.

Answer
Hello.  Your Daughter really should see a Dr.  It could be MANY things.
Is there a possibilty she could be pregnant?  If so she should get to the Dr. ASAP!
I would not even know where to start on the possibilities.  It could be something very minor or something real serious.
If she gets real bad an ER visit is in order.
Good luck to you.
