Recurring Muscle & Skin Pain: Potential Causes & Next Steps

I have a reaccurring problem. I have a traveling  muscle/skin pain. it takes about a week to run its course. for instance, it may start in the left buttock and each day it will move to a different locaction It feels like a bruising deep in the muscle and the skin feels as if you might have the flu. No other symtoms. can you point me in the right direction for possiblites?

This sort of pain may be an indicator of a systemic problem. I would highly encourage you to see your healthcare provider for an evaluation and some blood tests. The possibilities are wide ranging from a variant of Connective Tissue disease to the effects of a Tick bite.
