Swimmer's Ear: Showering & Swimming After Treatment - Expert Advice

If i have swimmers ear, is it all rigt to get water in my ear from the shower? And, when can I swim again?

If you put the medicine in the ears after showers or swimming you are usually OK. Once the medicine is run out, you can ask your doctor if you can put a few drops of isopropyl alcohol in the ears after showers or swimming to prevent the recurrence. If my patients do this they can swim and shower right away. OK?
