Gallbladder Problems: Alternatives to Surgery & Treatment Options

After I telephone conversation with a M.D., I learned that I may be having some gallbladder problems.  What are the alternatives to removal, such as herbs and/or other chemicals?

dear paul:
if your problems are indeed related to the gallbladder, removal is the best option. certain stones can be treated with ursodeoxycholate (a medication made from bears bile). you should talk this over with your treating doctor.
