Facial Nerve Paralysis in Children: Understanding Causes & Treatment Options

My daughter was born with a facial paralysis. She was tested and she has no movement on her right side of her face.  She is eight years old. She can close her eye pretty good but can not blink that well. What is your suggestion to me.

There are some plastic surgeons that specialize in nerve reconstruction.... we have one in Columbia, SC.  His name is Dr. Hallene Maragh.  He was from the big teaching hospital in Richmond, VA.

I would recommend a consultation with one of these super-sub-specialized physicians.
