Ortho-Micronor & Digestive Issues: Impact on Effectiveness - Expert Advice

I had a question about Ortho-Micronor (norethindrone). I have recently started on it and was reading the information that came with it and it mentioned something about vomiting/diarrhea and losing effectiveness. I was just wondering what is supposed to be done if one does have those problems (vomiting/diarrhea) and if maybe it matters what time you have the vomiting/diarrhea and what time you took the pill? Also, I was wondering what medications lower the effectiveness of this pill. Thank you.

if the pill is not absorbed due to vomiting or diarrhea you are not protected so you need to get those conditions under control if you have then occur. All antibiotics decrease the effectiveness of all birthcontrol products.
