Lexapro Side Effects & Questions: A New User's Experience

Question
I have a couple of questions about antidepressants if you can help me. I started taking a low dose of lexapro about 5 days ago. I am taking 1/4 of a 10mg pill and it seems to help some. I have a lot of anxiety and some depression, which makes it hard for me to sleep at night, so that is one of the main reasons I started lexapro. Anyway, it is helping with the anxiety/depression, but I have also noticed that it is making me constipated and I am having frequent urination at night. I am just wondering if these symptoms usually go away after taking an antidepressant for a few weeks or if this would be a continuing problem while taking an antidepressant. Thanks for your help!

Answer
Actually, the best sleep solution for many patients is to take magnesium oxide 500mg at dinner and at bedtime, PLUS a separate tab of calcium carbonate 500mg with Vit D at the same times but not in the same tablets.
For depression, we use 3000 mg of omega 3 before each meal, and take frozen if you are bothered by burping or taste of the fish oil capsules.
For tiredness, we use Vit B Complex at the B-50 level before each meal for quick response.

Of Course ask your doctors.
