Provera and Period Induction: How Long Until Your Period?

Question
I was given a prescription from my OB/GYN for Provera 10mg QD x 7 days to induce a period. I have a diagnosis of PCOS and suspected mild endometriosis.  I took the Provera as directed for 7 days.  It has been 5 days since I finished the script and still no period, just more intense pain.  How long does it normally take to get a period after finishing the Provera?  What happens if the Provera doesn't work?

Answer
How long does it normally take to get a period after finishing the Provera? 2-5 days

What happens if the Provera doesn't work? They need to do a more complete evaluation and treat the PCOS metabolically with 1000mg  of cinnamon and 3000 mg of omega 3 before each meal, stop all gluten foods for starters
