QuestionI have a set of changes that has happened over the last 6 years. What started out as now and then has become everyday. My doctor say's I'm getting old since the blood test say I'm healthy as a horse. But honestly 43 just doesn't seem old in my mind.
Here are the problems in order of anoyingness <grin>
1. fatigue I sleep 9 hours a night and take a 2 to 3 hour nap every day!
2. Sever headaches about once a month the worst one I had to have a shot to knock me out.
3. I have a possible dudinal ulcer? I get really bad pain in my dudinum but not my stomach. My doctor put me on nexium for this problem.
4.incontence. sometimes I don't make it so I wear depends.
5. floaty, smelly stools that have bits of food in them and are yellow and oily. But I'm not loosing any weight, Of course I eat alot.
6. Kidney stones about every 3 months. I don't even go to the doctor any more for them any more.
7. My feet and hands swell up nearly everyday and I can press into the swelling and it makes a hole that just stays there.
8. Oh, they found a cyst on my pancrease when I had a kidney stone but it's not cancerous and doesent bother me.
9. I keep getting gall stones which they find when I get a kidney stone but I don't have any pain in my stomach so I've decided to keep my gall bladder. If it doesn't bother me why get cut open.
Do you think these problems are related, or are they just a bunch of diffrent problems? It doesn't feel normal. I don't know any other 43 year olds that have this many problems. I know I certinaly didn't think I would be wearing depens this early in my life.
Any advice you could send my way would really help.
AnswerHere are the problems in order of anoyingness <grin>
1. fatigue I sleep 9 hours a night and take a 2 to 3 hour nap every day!
Ans: if you snore, then you need a test for sleep apnea but your basic problem is b vitamin deficiency, plus too much omega 6 plant oil in your diet
2. Sever headaches about once a month the worst one I had to have a shot to knock me out.
Ans: your basic problem is magnesium oxide deficiency, plus too much omega 6 plant oil in your diet
3. I have a possible dudinal ulcer? I get really bad pain in my dudinum but not my stomach. My doctor put me on nexium for this problem.
Ans: have them run the blood test for Helibacter pylorii and treat you with either a prevpac or helidac
4.incontence. sometimes I don't make it so I wear depends.
Ans: You need checked for cauda equina syndrome with a lumbar MRI but your your basic problem is b vitamin deficiency, plus too much omega 6 plant oil in your diet
5. floaty, smelly stools that have bits of food in them and are yellow and oily. But I'm not loosing any weight, Of course I eat alot.
Ans: you need blood tested for celiac disease but you need to limit you intake of gluten which comes from wheat, barley and rye in food products and cut out chips, poultry, and all forms of peanuts
6. Kidney stones about every 3 months. I don't even go to the doctor any more for them any more.
Ans: this is from magnesium oxide and b complex deficiency but you need to stop gluten first for the magnesium to be effective.
7. My feet and hands swell up nearly everyday and I can press into the swelling and it makes a hole that just stays there.
Ans: That is from the magnesium oxide deficiency plus the foods mentioned above.
8. Oh, they found a cyst on my pancrease when I had a kidney stone but it's not cancerous and doesent bother me.
Ans: this is from the above foods mentioned
9. I keep getting gall stones which they find when I get a kidney stone but I don't have any pain in my stomach so I've decided to keep my gall bladder. If it doesn't bother me why get cut open.
Ans: again from the foods above plus limit all forms of sugar, alcohol and severely limit your starch intake to only potato and rice for the rest of your life
10. Do you think these problems are related, or are they just a bunch of diffrent problems?
Ans: they are all related to what you eat, what is in your food and what is missing in your food.
11. It doesn't feel normal. I don't know any other 43 year olds that have this many problems. I know I certinaly didn't think I would be wearing depens this early in my life.
Ans: due to the modern food supply, most people feel 10-15 years older than they should feel for their age all related to what you eat, what is in your food and what is missing in your food.
You have much to learn and much to do to regain your health but we do this every day except Sunday with our center, The Ohio State University Center for Integrative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio for people who come from all over the world. See if you can find a local doctor who is board certified by the ABHM which you can search on the web to see who is in your area. They are not likely to have spend the countless hours researching this as we have nor likely to have the 42 years of extensive experience, but they can help you do the following:
Ask your doctor but this is what I use for my patients:
1) Fish oil 3000mg (900 mg EPA/DHA) just before each meal and at bedtime. With your gallbladder problem, you may want to start with one cap before meals and at bedtime taken with 2 spoonsful of Stonyfield yogurt from the freezer to stop bloating and burping of fish gas; then increase by a capsule per dose each week for a month then report back how you are doing.
2) High Potency B complex, (B-100) just before each meal
3) Magnesium oxide 250 mg taken just before each meal and at bedtime
4) Calcium carbonate with Vit D at dinner and bedtime but must be on the item 2) to prevent further stones
5) Vit C 500 mg just before each meal
6) Vit E 400 IU twice a day at breakfast and dinner
7) Cinnamon 1/4 tsp in food just before each meal if over weight
