Question I am so thankful for a place to ask such an embarrassing set of questions.
I have been on birth control for 6 years, after having some back and leg problems I have taken myself off of them, I have been off about three weeks. I ended them with my cycle as I should. I just decided I didn't want chemicals in my body any more besides the occassional aspirin etc.
I feel "wet" in my "private" area. My problem is I can not decide what is wet. I do not know if it is wet from stopping the pills. So one of my questions is, would that be a reaction to stopping the pills?
OR I do not know if it is an urinary incontience. (sp?)Which concerns me with back problems as I know that is not good.
Whichever it is it is not alot, it more of a feeling that anything, I am not soaked or anything.
If I have urinary incontience, would there have to be a lot? Or is a dribble enough to say I have urinary incontience?
I am a female, one child. Anything you could offer to shed light on this would be great. Thanks.
AnswerAnon,
Certainly this could be the result of changes in your hormone levels and thus from a vaginal source. However, with lower back problems (pain I am assuming) the symptom of urinary incontenence is of concern. My strong recommendation is to visit your physician to determine what the source of your "wetness" is.
