Managing Vaginal Dryness After Menopause: Affordable Solutions

Question
Hi Katherine,

How are you, I hopeyou are well.  I am a retiree and I have gone through menopause and I don't want my vagina to dry out and itch.  I have been drinking lots of water and eating right.  I don't have enough money for the expensvie creams.  Do you know of an inexpensive item we women can use to keep our vaginas from drying out?

Thank you in advance for your answer Katherine and may God help you and bless you!

Answer
julie;

many women of all ages run into vaginal dryness now and then. but common or not,a dry vagina feels uncomfortable and can make sex downright pianful.
the amount of vaginal lubrication varies from woman to woman,with a wide range of normal. the fluid itself is clear and relatively ordorless. apart from its gentle blessing when you're sexually aroused,you may not take much notice of your vaginal fluid most of the time. but when its absent,you may start to feel dry as a desert.

here's how to get the gentle lubrication flowing again;
-scrutinize your soap-the vagaina wasnt designed to be sterile. it has its own biologically normal,natural method of bacterial control,mainly by maintaining a natural level of acidity[pH of4 to 4.5] use a superfatted hypoallergenic soap with no dyes or fragrances-one that is nonalkaline and pH-balanced;
-using a water based lubricant like K-Y Jelly or surgilube during sexual intercourse. avoid vaseline and oils-they tend to plug up pores;
-vitamin E may also help ease other symptoms of menopause,such as vaginal dryness. various studies show that vitamin E can be an effective substitute for estorgen in the majority of women;
-foods that are good sources of vitamin E include avocade,flaxseed,and wheat germ.

i hope this helps you out;
