QuestionThanks for your response. Would you explain to me what the actual difference is between the XL and the SR? I understand it's extended vs. slow release? Does that mean that the SR takes longer to act or the extended stays longer? I am confused about the difference.
Thanks!

-----Question-----
I have been taking Wellbutrin XL for over a year and this past month due to insurance restrictions was forced to switch to the generic version of Wellbutrin SR. I have been taking the medication for two weeks now and I feel like I am slipping back into the depression. I know that generics are supposed to be equivalent to the brand name but is it possible that the generic is making a difference?
