Understanding Fluctuating Calcium Levels and Parathyroid Health

Question
My serum calcium has been up (out of range) and down (within range) during the past 12 months, ionized calcium has been high last 6 months(5.7, 5.9, & 5.9) pth was low then normal. I think it's time for an ultrasound of the parathyroid, and intend to ask for one at next visit - in January. What do you think? I'm interested in any and all information regarding calcium levels and the parathyroid. Thanks!

I agree with asking for a real answer and endocrinologist evaluation if your doctor is not comfortable treating this.
