Ear Lump Location & Potential Causes: What Could It Be?

Hi,

Just curious where lymph nodes are located around the ear?  I noticed this hard bump on the back bottom portion of my ear.  It feels like its just above the crease where your earlobe meets your head (its on the bottom of the ear cartalege).  Are there any lymph nodes there or is this most likely a pimple type thing?

there are many many lymph nodes all around the ear.  If the lump is on the ear, that sounds more like a simple cyst--- a fluid filled sac that can be fairly firm.  If it isn't red or painful, you can leave it alone unless it is disfiguring.  They are at risk of getting infected, but usually just sit there and do nothing.
