Identifying Possible Intestinal Parasites: What to Do

I do not like asking these things but i feel i must. i had an itch on my anus area so i was about to itch around it and i notice some thin loop thing that did not seem like hair so i checked in mirror in bathroom and a long black thread was moving around that seemed to have a mucusy substance on it if i wiped it. Some say parasites are not black thin threadlike worms, but there is an adult worm that is skinny and black. Does anybody know about this? my doctor didn't believe it was worm last time i asked, but if it wasn't exposed it might be hard to see.

usually worms are white or light tan colored (plus, they are very very rare in adults) .... I think you probably ate something that went thru you.... if you have them, you will have more and will have to catch one, but I don't think you will see it again....
