Persistent Chest Pain & Symptoms in a 42-Year-Old Woman: A Comprehensive Case
QuestionI am a 42 yr old female with a long list of symptoms as well as medications that I take. About 5 yrs ago I started having chest pains. Some started in my throat some in my jaw and some in my chest. They found that I was hypertensive with type 2 diabetes. I have a goiter and now taking meds for that. I have seen 30 some doctors with all the test. I have had 2 stress test, 3 electrocardiograms, excessive blood work ( with raised cardiac enzymes) and a cathederization. And because of my age the doctors act like I am lyeing. In March of this yr. my kids rushed me to the emergency room with chest pains. (Note: I did not have my nitro with me so I had not used any.) I was diagnosed with unstable angina. They gave me nitro a shot in my stomach of hepren. Then kept me over night. Increased my blood pressure medicine and sent me home. I take metoporolol 100mg. 2 times a day, levoxyl .75mcgs 1 time a day, lasix 40mgs 1 time a day, potassium 200meqs 1 time a day and 1000mg of glucaphage a day... I dont never feel good and I cannot seem to get past this. Please help me....
Answeraudrey;
well due to all thats has happened to you,i feel your pain. and from a women who has had a heart attack,you may need something more,like an anti-depressant.
this will help in so many ways,and you will feel better;
i suggest talking it over with your doctor.
