QuestionHi I'm a 29 year old female. I have never had any problems with Allergies. in the past 4 months for no reason I'll start sneezing multiple times.. I'll sneeze every minute for about a half an hour then every 3-5 minute lasting 2-3 hours.
I have never sneezed more them 3x until this fall. I have tried nose sprays, over the counter allergy meds, vics and breathing in steam. Nothing seems to work. I don't have any warning.
Can I just develop allergies all of a sudden? My husband noticed it started right after a car accident we were in. Could a car accident cause damage to a nerve that controls that part of my body?
My husband and I are private investigators. I have blown are cover 3 times already. So I really need to know if I can control it or prevent a fit. So it doesn't interfere with our job.
Any information would be great thank you, Angie
Answerwell, we can't have you blowing your cover anymore.....
sneezing is a reflex caused by irritation to certain nerves inside the nose. Most of the time they are irritated by colds or allergies. Sometimes the irritation can be from an injury... (did you whack your nose on the dash at the accident?)
First, I would use normal saline nasal spray, (ocean, many names) and use it about every 3 hours while awake and see if it starts helping after at least 5 days. If so, then allergies are prob the issue. Start there and see how it goes......... I know you said you used sprays, but use it frequently and consistently.
