Sore Throat and Dizziness: Causes, Symptoms & When to See a Doctor

I have had this awful sore throat for the last 48hrs & yesterday was lightheaded &
dizzy for most of the day, through the night and this morning when I woke up -
same thing! Its not as bad as yesterday, but i'm still dizzy. I'm 27 yrs old. thanks!

if you have fever and painful swallowing, then you have to consider strep throat.... that must be treated with antibiotics.  Most sore throats are viral and will get better no matter what, but if you have any of the following, get checked for strep....


fever
painful swallowing
tender neck nodes
white spots on tonsils
a lot of body aches
