Sore Throat vs. Strep Throat: Symptoms & When to Worry

I was just wondering what the differences are between just a sore throat and strep throat?  My throat has been very sore since yesterday, so I just wondered how concerned I should be?

Strep throat is a very serious illness with high fever, prostration, swollen neck nodes. Compared to a "regular" sore throat it is a profound illness. I think you'd know the difference. If you have a doubt, just contact your healthcare provider and a phone consult should do.
