Nipple Lump with White Head: Causes, Concerns & When to See a Doctor

Question
About three weeks ago I noticed a small raised lump on my nipple with a white head on it. The lump is slightly pink but it is not painful or hard but does not seem to be going either. There is no discharge although I can scrape the white away but the spot remains. I am scared it may be breast cancer, I am 41 yrs old and stopped breast feeding 2 years ago so can't be related to that. Should I be concerned?

Answer
From your description I doubt that this is a cancer but since I can not check you myself I think you should let a doctor check you. Good luck!
