Questionhi ive just had a visit from my midwife and she has booked me for a scan im 38wks now and my uterus height is measuring 35 is this a bad thing my baby also has an elarged kidney does this have anything to do with it thanks

An ultrasound scan will give you a better idea of whether or not your baby's enlarged kidney is causing any health or growth problems. You will be able to see if the baby's growth rate has been normal since the last scan, if the baby is processing enough amniotic fluid, and if the condition of the kidney has stabilized. This will provide you with much more accurate information than a simple external measurement can give you.
