Can a normal, healthy child be born in 7 months or should I get a test done to see if Im the childs father

Answer
No.  A child born at 7 months gestation, or two months early, would suffer from breathing difficulties, including apnea, bradycardia (a slowing of the heartbeat usually related to apnea), difficulty regulating body temperature, and often difficulties feeding.  Babies born this early usually do well, and have good outcomes, but they do require intensive care for at least the first couple of weeks.
