Question
hello sir, i love a girl n soon we are going to marry but she has Sickle-cell anaemia of normal stage and i am a normal healthy guy so we want to know that can she deliver a normal healthy child without transfering sickel cell to that child and if yes then plz tell us what care we need to take to have a normal healthy child...?
AnswerSickle-cell anemia can only be passed on if both parents have either sickle-cell anemia or are a carrier and have sickle-cell trait. If you are not a carrier, then your child won't have it. However, your child would have a 50% chance of having sickle-cell trait, which means your child would not have the disease, but would have the potential to pass it along to their own children.
If you have never been tested to see if you have sickle-cell trait, I strongly encourage you to do so.
There are special concerns for a woman with sickle-cell to consider before getting pregnant. You can read more about pregnancy and sickle-cell anemia here:

Good prenatal care is going to help a lot in giving you the best chance of having a healthy baby.
I wish you both the best.
Sincerely,
