HI... My boyfriend and i have been dating for almost 9 months now, and we have both talked about having sex, and feel we are both ready. We feel that using condoms AND birth control would be safest,seeing as we are both not ready to raise a child, but are ready to take our relationship to the next level. The thing is that my parents are mormon, and they are completely against any pre-marital sex. How can I go about doing this without my parents consent? is it even possible?

Hi Chrissy,

You do not need your parent's permission to get birth control. You can see your doctor and s/he can prescribe birth control for you without them knowing it. Places like Planned Parenthood clinics will prescribe birth control for you, and will even keep it confidential.
