Benign Nodule Follow-Up: Understanding MRI Results & Hormone Effects

Question
this is a follow up questions,i had the mri with gadolinium said i lit up like Christmas tree, so i went back for second one and then sent me to have a second look ultra-sound and did a biopsy on the left side nodule was found, and test came back benign, thank god for that.my question is should i have a 2nd opinion, they say my hormones were probably effecting the results of the MRI.IS THIS possible? and also found out that i have gall stones in bile duct, had gall bladder taken out 2006,all the pain that i am experience on my right side, and into shoulder, and shoulder blade, could this be caused by gall stones, the pathology report says i had gall bladder disease, does that mean could be CANCER OR JUST  a sickly gall bladder. sorry for so drawn out questions, but we are talking about my LIFE. thanks so much...

Answer
1. Yes it can very well be due to hormones. If you do not want this lump to be there you can ask a surgeon to remove it (can probably be done with local anesthetics). If the lump is sent to a pathologist you will also know for sure what it is. 2. Yes if indeed you do have gall stones they may cause the pain you describe. 3. It JUST means a sickly gall bladder NOT cancer! Had there been a cancer that would have been mentioned!
