Small Mass After Scar Tissue Removal: Understanding Cancer Risk

I had a lump removed 6 months ago that I was told was scar tissue. I just recently back for my follow-up and they found a small mass in the best. I have not been told yet what the results are of biopsy. What are the chances that the new mass is cancer in an early stage? Please advise

In this case it may very well be scar tissue too. But we can not be sure of anything until we have the result of your biopsy. Good luck!
