Yasmin Pill Timing & Time Zone Changes: Safe Adjustments?

Question
I have been taking Yasmin for 6 months now. I have always taken the pill every day at 7:30am, give or take a minute or two.  I will be traveling this summer to a slightly different time zone and thought I would like to switch to taking it an hour later.  Is there any risk in suddenly switching the time or should I increase it by 10 minutes each month until my vacation?  This will only be temporary, because I will want to switch back to 7:30a after my vacation is over.  What is the definition for "taking pills on time"?

Answer
Hello Vicki,
I'm not a medical doctor so I advise you to check with your physician. I just read an article which stated that you should take your pill within 2-4 hours of the previous time. So I think you should be ok with just one hour time difference. Have you had any side effects from the pills? Let me know if I can help you further.
