taking it before the right time as prescribed by the doctor. You will mess up
your body and you will be even more distressed and confused than you are

AnswerI'm sorry about your fears. I hope you are getting good advice and treatment from your doctor. I'm not sure that getting on any kind of hormonal contraceptive is a good idea if you are worried about cervical cancer. But if you are under a doctor's care, you can hopefully trust his/her medical knowledge.
