Trying to Conceive After a Miscarriage: When to Try Again?

Hey there,
My husband & I tried for 2 years to get pregnant after our son was born. I was able to get pregnant in January of this year, but unfortunately lost it. I made the decision to get back on birth control to better regulate  my periods. How long should I stay on the pill before we try again?

The birth control pill will regulate your periods, but doesn't affect your fertility.  You can stop the pill and try again anytime.  Since you tried for 2 years last time, I would seek help if you're not pregnant in 6 months, and sooner if your periods are irregular.  Irregular periods suggest that you're not ovulating, and that's usually easy for your doctor to help.
