Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) & Abortion: Risks & Future Fertility

Question
Hi I would like to know the risk that are involved with having an abortion with polycistic ovaries and if i will be able to fall pregnant again? I haven't been pregnant before for 15yrs and find it a miracle that I can be 5wks pregnant but my partner and I have just got back together and i'm scared because we're not ready or stable to bring a beautiful child into our lives just yet. I'm very confused what to do. I'd hate to loose this baby then find out its impossible for me to get pregnant again.....
Thank you, and I wait for your response.

Answer
Hi Casey :)

If you've been able to become pregnant once, you will be able to again. Unfortunately, it may be difficult and require extra fertility help, but usually you wouldn't be able to conceive once and then never again. I don't know if you've spoken with a doctor about it, but sharing your concerns with them might help you feel reassured, and they can go over more personalized specifics with you.
