hi,I need some information, heres what happened,2 days ago me and my girlfriend had sex protected sex,so I thought, she has been on the birthcontrol pill for almost a year now,and for the past couple of months I have been using condoms also,so I thought we were safe,I usually ask her if she took her pill before we even start well I didn't this time and the condom broke, but I didn't go inside her even with a condom and birth control,I always pull out,as soon as I realized the condom broke I asked her if she took the pill and the answer was no,that she forgot, then she took it 5min later. so today I brought her to the clinic to try and get a prescription for Plan B,but the doctor wouldn't prescribe it to her because she has been on birthcontrol for almost a year,so what should I do,I tryed and I failed to keep us protected and now I am worried to death that she may become pregnant and she don't get her period for another three weeks, thats alot of time to worry,is there anyway to know for sure please e-mail me back with any info thank you

Considering she has been on birthcontrol for a year, most likely not, anyways for birthcontrol to be completly effective, you need to take it at the same time everyday (within a 3 hour time frame), but the only sure way to know is to wait 3 more weeks and take a pregnancie test. or go to the dr. and have a blood pregnancie test done i believe you can get those a week sooner than the urine test.
is it most likely that she is not pregnant or most likely that the doctor didn't prescribe plan b because she has been on birthcontrol for a year, also how long does the pill work for after you take it,for example if a girl wanted to get pregnant and she was taking birthcontrol pillsfor say a year could she just not take it one day and get pregnant that night or does it take a couple of days thanks please e-mail me back
AnswerIt is most likely she is NOT pregnant. But not positive, birth control is not 100% I was on birth control when I got pregnant with my daughter (now 5 years old, and a joy). When you stop taking birt control you can get pregnant immedietly, like within a few days or it can take up to a few weeks/months, it just depends on the person and whe she ovulates and all that kind of stuff.
