Early Pregnancy After Abortion: What to Do?

QUESTION: hi. im kristi and im 18. i just had my second abortion done last month(March) on the 24th, i was 13 weeks pregnant. My first one was just a couple months earlier in late December. I just took a pregnancy test last night (April20th) and it says i am pregnant, again. i refuse to get another abortion, showing my face there in itself 3 times in less than 5 months will be humiliating. but i am worried that since i was over 3 months pregnant, and it hasnt even been a month yet.. if im even healed yet? would be baby be able to be healthy? or will there be problems? help please!

in the first place you should know that a pregtest after an abortion can stay positive for a considerable time; three to four weeks that is. More reliable is whether you feel pregnant or not, nauseous or swollen breast...
Its not 4 weeks yet now. !4 days after an abortion you can be pregnant after unprotected sex. To go for a third abortion in such a short period is better than to get unprepared an unwanted baby.
But's your life. Do not make a mess of it and use contraceptives !

QUESTION: thank you so much, i didnt know that! but if i were to find out that i was pregnant, would it be safe for myself and the baby knowing that i just had an abortion less than a month ago? i hear that the uterus takes a while to heal, and its not safe for the baby and it can cause problems later on. is this true?

Gynecologist think that it is not wise to get pregnant very shortly after an abortion. BUT I never saw scientific reasoning for this opinion. Its overall: "We think that" but no proof.
You sure you can handle a baby now, because you are ashamed about your recent abs ? By the way, you could go to another clinic !
