Post-Abortion Infection Risk & Safe Sex After Procedure

hi there, so i had an abortion on nov.19 , and its been four days now and my boyfriend really wants to have sex, and emotionally id be fine, but i am really worried about getting an infection.
If i do have sex before the recommended time, how high is the risk?

Hi Taylor,

I hope you didn't have sex before 2 weeks or your post abortion checkup. You are right to think that you might get an infection. But what are you going to do now after this abortion? Are you going to continue having sex with your boyfriend? Because if you do, chances are high that you might become pregnant again and are you going to have another abortion again? Please think about your options and consider not having sex for a while. You don't have to have sex just because a guy wants it.
