Answer
Hello, 218.

Nobody can guarantee that you will be able to go back to work immediately after an abortion. An abortion can kill you or leave you with some serious complications. For example, there are women in India who are bleeding to death after abortion. Sometimes it only takes hours or days. There are people who are making the means available, and it's very irresponsible. They also give instructions that could result in a woman dying within hours from a massive infection. Don't even THINK about it!

All forms of abortion can cause serious harm. They can also cause harm to your emotions. Some women don't feel like going on with life after an abortion, and the rate of suicide is high. If you suffer this type of consequence, getting to work immediately won't be an issue. You won't care.

Yes, an abortion can make you sterile. It can also harm your future children. For example, it can cause very early birth, which can cause cerebral palsy, autism, and epilepsy. It can cause complications at the time of birth that would make Caesarian section necessary. It can cause tubal pregnancy, and that means a woman has to have emergency surgery, or it can kill her. The baby cannot live in that circumstance. Any kind of abortion can also make you much more vulnerable to breast cancer while you are still young. You are right to be scared. Please don't do this. You deserve better.

All in all, if I were to give you the information you are seeking, I would be practicing medicine without a license, and I could get into a lot of trouble. Also, you are asking me to help you hurt yourself, and I won't do that, either.

There are organizations in India that can help you with the problems you face. They're all in cities in south India, but if you are in the north, they may be able to help you find help where you live. To find one of these, go here:
