(Note during this time i was bleeding, cramping, vomiting, constantly tired, with migraines)(the nurse was told, she ignored the info.) hopeing for things to get better i know have stoped bleeding however i am cramping worst than before, the migraines come and go alone with the vomiting. what should i do?whats going on?

ANSWER: Hello, Nicole,

I am sorry you are having this problem. I assume from what you said that you had a pill abortion.

What happened is that you had an abortion, and it hurt you. Not surprising. An abortion cannot be done without hurting the woman. The harm from your first abortion may have simply been delayed. It is certain that it has made you much more at risk for breast cancer. The fact that they ignored your statements of the harm you are suffering is to be expected. If they didn't believe in hurting women, they wouldn't have provided you with those dangerous pills to begin with. Also, it's possible it was an overdose for your body at that time. The manufacturer of one of the drugs says a pregnant woman should NEVER take them. They don't want the legal liability when women get hurt or killed. And yes, these pills are killing women. You need to list this medication as one you are allergic to so that they don't ever give it to you in the future.

It's real possible you did so much bleeding that you are weakened, and you now have insufficient blood for your body to work right. It sounds like a dangerous situation to me. You need to find a decent doctor who will listen to you and provide you real help. The best place to find such a doctor is to find an organization in your area that helps pregnant women. These are all over the United States, so there will be one near you. To find one, go to this web site:

http://www.pregnancycenters.org/

In the meantime, it would be good to be able to bring the symptoms under control. I have some suggestions you can try, and they won't hurt you. First, you probably need greater blood volume. You need to be able to get nutrition, and to stop the vomiting. The best remedy for vomiting is probably to sip ginger tea. You can get ginger tea at a health food store. Also, you should replace the electrolytes you have lost through bleeding and vomiting. Some people will simply try to drink a lot of water to replace blood volume, but what this does is dilutes the electrolytes in your body and makes things worse. So get some EmergenC at the health food store as well. You put a packet in a glass of water. Sip this. Get the EmergenC with sugar in it. Artificial sweeteners are also dangerous, and you will probably feel a little better if you get a little sugar into your system. The kind of "sugar" you need to avoid is corn syrup or fructose (it's OK to get it in fruit, but you probably don't want to eat anything that acid at the moment). Regular cane sugar is safe in moderation. It won't cause an insulin reaction. It is important to do whatever you can to bring your body back into balance, and these things will help. If you start bleeding again, the best remedy is cayenne. You can also get this at the health food store.

I don't know what to do about the cramping. The amount of cramping cannot be controlled. This is one of the reasons women are not supposed to take these pills. In some cases, this can be so severe it actually ruptures a woman's uterus. Some people try to take painkillers, but the problem with them is that they can cause the uterus to relax and then a woman can have profuse bleeding, so they're not a good idea.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to ask any other questions you might have. Let me know how you are doing. Please take care of yourself!

QUESTION: Thanks for the advice Pat, but sorry I forgot to mention it was surgical, So can i still do what you said as for my bodys balance?

ANSWER: Hello, Nicole,

You're welcome.

I would suggest one other thing that you should be concerned about, and that is the possibility of internal injury. You should be checked out, because you could be bleeding internally, and this could be very serious. And the fact you bled so much does also suggest you had a more serious injury. So you need to be checked out.

One thing you didn't mention that I have been wondering about and that is if you feel dizzy or lightheaded when you stand up. If so, this would be further evidence you have lost too much blood.

And yes, you can still do the things I said.

Please do keep in touch and let me know how you do. Take care.

Answer
Hello, Nicole,

You are very welcome. I don't believe in being judgmental, especially since I know so many women are being coerced and deceived.

I'll mention this again. One other thing I strongly urge you to do is to make sure and get some cayenne into your body. This will help stop the bleeding. Cayenne is red hot peppers. You can get these at the health food store, or you can get it in certain spicy foods. You should make sure you get some regularly until your problem is resolved. If your stomach is still giving you too much trouble, you can put drops in your mouth. They will burn like heck, but it will help protect you. You can also dilute the drops in water or tomato juice. Tomato juice will help quell the fire. And if necessary, you can sip.

It does sound like you lost too much blood, and they'll have to figure out why you are bleeding so much. Clearly, you have been injured. Even though all abortions hurt women, there are degrees of injury, and you sound like you were injured more than most. This is true whether you are bleeding externally, or have an internal injury, or both. Hopefully, the things I have recommended will keep you going until they discover and fix the problem. I will pray for you. Hopefully, they will be able to give you treatment that isn't too involved. Please take care of yourself, and feel free to write back any time. Please let me know when you are doing better.
